Families
We personally interview all our Travelling Nannies.
At the interview, each prospective Holiday Nanny is assessed and their suitability for different placements recorded. Their references are then carefully checked and confirmed, along with their qualifications, ID, First Aid and CRB. Our selection process is very thorough; we only take on experienced Nannies who we would employ to care for our own children. We then create the selected Nannies a 'profile' which incorporates their skill set, experiences, our recommendations and a summary of the comments from their referees.
We provide a free Nanny-Family Matching Service
Give us a call, or drop us an email and we will be happy to find a Travelling Nanny or Temporary Nanny to meet your needs. Whether you are just looking for someone to entertain your child/ren, or whether you have a more specific need, such as swimming tuition, or special needs support, we will be able to recommend someone for you. We aim to send you the profiles of 2 Nannies for your consideration within 2 working days.
We help organise a Telephone Interview/ Informal Meeting
We recommend that the Family and prospective Holiday Nanny meet informally, in order to discuss the holiday plans and childcare needs. The family can use the opportunity to see how the Nanny interacts with their children and make a decision about their suitability before confirming the booking. At this point, a 50% deposit will be payable to My Mary Poppins Ltd.
We do all the hard work so you can concentrate on enjoying your holiday.
On confirmation of the booking, My Mary Poppins Ltd creates a contract tailored specifically for the placement, agreeing the dates, hours, number of children, and duties. We arrange working Travel Insurance for the Nanny which will be added to the final invoice.
Please note:
Accommodation, transport and food for the Nanny is also paid for by the family in addition to the childcare fee.
All information supplied to our agency is completely confidential. Our Nannies all sign a confidentiality agreement.
